Accessibility
A considered experience for every visitor.
Atlantis aims for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1 Level AA, across this site. It is a practical target we continue to work toward.
Measures in place
Built for more than one way of browsing.
- Keyboard navigation through the menu, forms, links, and core page controls.
- A skip link that moves directly to the main page content.
- Focus management that keeps keyboard users oriented as menus and form steps change.
- Color and contrast choices intended to keep text and controls legible.
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who ask their device for less motion.
- Touch targets designed to be at least 44 pixels for the site's primary controls.
Known limitations
Immersive sequences ask more of the browser.
Some pages use immersive scroll sequences to tell the story of a project or process. For visitors who prefer less motion, those sequences offer reduced-motion alternatives that keep the core content available. Atlantis continues to treat any place where that alternative falls short as a barrier to fix.
