Cookies, in plain language.
This site works fully with essential cookies alone. Anonymous analytics runs only if you allow it, and you can change that choice here at any time.
Essential cookies and stored preferences.
Three small pieces of storage make the site work. A preview-access cookie (atlantis_preview) remembers that a browser has been allowed into a protected preview; it never exists on the public site. Your cookie choice itself (atl_consent) is stored so we do not ask again on every visit. And if you pick a starting path on the homepage, that choice (atlantis_path) is kept on your device so the site-visit form can greet you on the right foot.
None of these identify you, none of them leave your browser except the preview-access cookie accompanying your requests to this site, and none of them are used for advertising.
Analytics cookies.
If you choose “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics 4 sets its cookies (names beginning with _ga) to distinguish visits and measure which pages help people and which actions get used, in aggregate. Analytics never loads before that choice, never runs on preview hosts, and stops loading if you switch back to essential only.
Your current choice: not made yet
Switching from analytics back to essential stops new analytics from loading; a page refresh clears anything already running.
How this fits the privacy policy.
The privacy policy covers everything else: what happens to a site-visit request, phone calls, spam protection on the form, and how to reach Atlantis with a privacy question. Read it at atlantispoolsga.com/privacy.
